Weight gain after surgery can be caused by various influences. Swelling can be a factor as you return to normal activities. It could be diet related as well. Keeping a log of your intake may help identify the cause. I encourage you to speak with your surgeon about your concerns. He/She is most familiar with the details of your surgery and how you've been progressing through recovery.

Weight gain after a tummy tuck is a nuisance and a challenge. At this point, it is possible but unlikely that your surgery itself would cause weight gain directly.  It is very possible, however, that it is related indirectly. The recuperation period can change a persons habits and even small changes can add up over time. It sounds like you are eating well and appropriately but changes in caloric intake are the most distinct way to gain weight. It might be worth a food diary or an app that charts everything you take in. You may find yourself accidentally exceeding your goals.Of course, this is all a bit presumptuous on my part and I apologize if this is completely misdirected.
