If Emsculpt is taking away fat from my abdomen, what happens if I gain weight? Will it go back to the abs or will it go to another area so that my thighs, etc are bigger than they were before?
Answer: Emsculpt and weight gain Emsculpt is primarily for building fat and some minor fat reduction, and will not appreciably change your weight at all. If you gain weight after treatment it will distribute globally, and maybe only slightly less so in the Emsculpt treated areas.

Emsculpt treatment will help you gain muscles and lose fat, however, the treatment itself will not result in significant weight loss. If you were to gain weight after the treatment, weight gain will be distributed throughout the body. If you lose a significant amount of fat with EmSculpt on the abdomen, it is possible that future weight gain will be in a somewhat different distribution than if you had never had EmSculpt. The weight of fat is a lot lighter than you realize compared to the size, so when you reduce or deplete fat cells, your weight usually won't fluctuate much from the treatment alone. Same with EMSCULPT, but it is working primarily on building muscle. The amount of change, however visible, more than likely will not show much of a difference on the scale. This treatment is for patients with less than 2" of fat on their abdomen or buttocks so the fat reduction change is not dramatic as would be with a treatment like CoolSculpting or Vanquish ME.
