I used to have full cheeks, which now appear hollow. I have always been very slim and athletic, so I am not sure what caused my cheeks to suddenly disappear, but I started noticing the lines after I had undergone an orthodontic treatment with 2 teeth on my lower jaw extracted due to overcrowding. Could this have caused the problem? What is the best treatment for me now? I am highly opposed to surgical procedures at my age.

Answer: Aging face Great questions and thanks for sharing the pics. There are tow ways to address the aging that results in volume loss and laxity. One option is non surgical tightening and lifting by ultherapy or similar procedure or add more volume in the cheek are to lift the angles with fillers. Need a consultation to discuss pros and cons of both and to see whats best for you.

Answer: Improving Marionette Lines - Lasers like Fraxel/Clear + Brilliant, RF like VIVA, Peels, Fillers, Skin Care, Face Lift, J Plasma I recommend fillers for the folds themselves but also lifting around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, rf treatments, J Plasma and peels to get the most conservative natural look. Please see a facial sculpting expert.
