Is $300 for lipo too cheap?

It sounds like a bait and switch at best. I wouldn't be surprised if they've broken the body down into a million tiny areas and require a 10-area minimum to get the deal. Surgeons who can't compete on the basis of skill and experience sometimes use an eye-catching price as their only means of getting attention. Beware.

The pricing for liposuction depends on many factors such as the size of the areas treated (neck maybe less expensive than abdomen), timing of the physician practice (sooner after completing training - some physicians may charge less), now much fat is there to remove and so on.Generally speaking, $300 per area is low.Please note that Plastic Surgeons DO NOT have monopoly on doing liposuction or having fantastic results from liposuction. To suggest the otherwise if plain wrong and ignorant.

Definitely red flags. In this case you're certainly getting what you pay for. Be sure they are a Board certified Plastic Surgeon and a properly licensed, experienced, professional to be performing SmartLipo.  When it comes to your body and your well being, going the cheaper route is never the best option.

If its to good to be true it probable is.  You should be careful.  Smart lipo is sold to any physician and lots of physician performing smart lipo are not board certified plastic surgeons.  Bottom line is that is too cheap for lipo.  Make sure all your cosmetic procedures are performed by a board certified plastic surgeon.  You wound not let a plastic surgeon deliver your baby.  So do not let a physician who is not a board certified plastic surgeon do your cosmetic surgery. 

I like the quote "you get what you pay for!". For that price I question if it is a board certified plastic surgeon doing the procedure. Make sure always of the certification of your physician. If they are not board certified in Plastic Surgery and you get a complication, they will not be able to respond to it or admit you at a hospital. Be careful!Hope this helps,Dr. Gus Diaz

"You get what you pay for". I would be surprised if it's a board certified plastic surgeon. $300 forlipo and $5000 to fix the aesthetic issues plus the mental anguish and possible Heath ramifications.  I would say do your homework. 

"If it is to good to be true, than it usually is!" Never have heard of such a ridiculous offer. Is it a Groupon? 

You're right, $300 per area is indeed too cheap. This would not even cover the physician's overhead. Be cautious of such ads, they lure you in but then can't deliver. Instead, find a board certified cosmetic surgeon whom you can trust and realize you get what you pay for.
