I'm going to have a neck lift/lower facelift and Fractional laser treatment in a week and just picked up my prescriptions. I'm puzzled by the prescription for Acyclovir 400mg to be taken twice daily. I do not have herpes and have never had a cold sore in all of my 63 years. Is this a precautionary step? It's the weekend so I can't ask my surgeon but wanted input. Thanks.
