I had cc in 2021, so I got a complete pocket clean out, new implants, and adjustments to make sure they were symmetrical. 2nd day PO I knew something was wrong. They were way off. Doc made me wait a year, he went in and pulled down the implant. Again I knew it was not fixed. Waited another year, he went in again and pulled it down, same thing again. I keep asking if the dropped one is bottoming out and he keeps sayin no. But the scar keeps moving Up. The dropped one is significantly bigger too
Answer: Bottoming out Dear sunnykit, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Breasts Yes, you are bottoming out on one side. I would suggest going smaller and revising the inferior pocket on the lower side. You are not supporting the weight of your implant.

Answer: It's also a soft tissue envelope issue Although your left breast had CC, it appears to be in good position. The problem seems to be an asymmetry of your nipple position on the breast mound, with far more skin below the right nipple compared to the left, a phenomenon of not just implant position, but also from your previous breast lift. Unfortunately, making any valid diagnosis and therefore treatment plan is impossible from looking at photos. You'll need to visit a few other surgeons who are expert in revision breast surgery to really sort the issues out.

Answer: Get a second opinion Hi there, Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble. It would be beneficial to you to seek a second opinions from other plastic surgeons. You do show signs of right implant bottoming out slightly and also being more lateral. Especially, if you can feel one implant in the lower pole of the breast but not the other. All the best,

Answer: Breast augmentation issues This response was dictated. I apologize for any potential grammatical errors. Your situation is, therefore I don’t think it’s appropriate to make an assessment or give you quality recommendations based on posting on this website. To make an assessment on the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we generally always need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures. If somebody’s had multiple procedures, then we need to see before and after pictures For each of the previous operations. Capsular contractions are a fairly serious complication from breast augmentation surgery and can lead to eventual implant failure. Removing ethic capsule is going to change the shape of the breast significantly. It’s difficult to manipulate the shape of the implant pocket once the capsule has been removed. Your situation sounds complex. Either continue to follow up with your provider or seek proper in person. Second opinion consultations if you want to switch to a different plastic surgeon. For second opinion, consultations come prepared bring with you a complete set of proper before, and after pictures for each of your previous procedures and operative reports. These can all be obtained from your previous provider or providers. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
