If you do not want to touch your tip because you like the way it looks, this can be done as well

You can either shorten it from the top (remove the top part of the nasal bones), or the bottom, move the tip back or rotate it

There are several techniques to shorten a long nose, such as suturing techniques for the nasal tip, shortening the membranous and cartilaginous columella, and rotating the tip upwards.  In addition to these techniques, removing a hump at the glabella will lower the start point for the top of the nose, which will also shorten it.  This can all be done through closed rhinoplasty techniques under general anesthesia.
