Is it normal for some my teeth to not properly fit on the Invisalign tray?

If the button is fitting properly in the tray then it sounds to me like the template that was used to place the attachment was not seated fully on the tooth. Since this if your first tray I would ask the dentist to remove the attachment and place it again using the template. You really don't want to get off on the wrong foot and attachment placement is very important.

This is not uncommon.  If the tooth still is not fitting ideally after the full 14 days of wear, I would wear it a few more days to see if that tooth will track better.  I also give Aligner Chewies (you can get them on Amazon) to my Invisalign patients.  It is basically a rubber cylinder that you chew on in that tooth area to help to engage that tooth.  If it does not improve, then make an appt with your Doc.  Good Luck!

First off I would have your doctor check it.  Most likely, this tooth is supposed to erupt into the space in the tray.

Hi, this can happen if the teeth are quite bent inwards as compared to adjacent ones. As the teeth get straighter over the next few aligners, you will find the trays fitting more perfectly without any gaps.
