Hi turning 40 soon and seeing these amazing smile lines. I want something more permanent unlike botox and fillers. figure a laser will help. Which is the best?

A combination of botox and lasers or chemical peels would give you the best results. Botox can be used to relax the muscles around your eyes which contract when you smile. Lasers, peels would diminish the wrinkles that are present at rest. Good luck

There are a combination of treatments you can benefit from.  For your crows feet, botox will have considerable improvement on those wrinkles.  Depending on how well you do with Botox, treatment should be needed every 3-4 months.  For under your eyes, you may want to consider fillers or laser treatments.  There are a variety of lasers on the market and not every laser would work for you.  It is best you schedule a consult with a board certified dermatologist in your area.

A combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. Thanks for your question. Filler will not fix this. Laser can certainly help. Ultimately, blepharoplasty will give you the best and most permanent results and is really the treatment that can best fix the problem you are noticing. The best treatment would be a combination of Botox with fillers and a procedure such as Thermismooth, Fraxel laser, Profractional, Venus Viva or Microneedling (anything that will create tiny wounds in the skin so that new collagen can regenerate as the skin undergoes controlled healing). For the crows feet outside your eyes, Botox will work wonders. This will likely also improve the under eye wrinkles a little. For under the eye, I would recommend a combination of microlaser peel +/- profractional, and platelet rich plasma +/- a very small amount of filler.

Thanks for the great question. For the lines outside your eyes, botox is going to work really well to treat that area. For the lines under your eyes, those are best treated with laser like, Halo, Fraxel, or even Erbium to resurface that skin.
