Hello I’m 18 years old and I’ve been suffering with hyperhidrosis in my buttock and back area for about 4 years now it started a little before quarantine and has progressed serverly anytime I sit down or even get nervous it sweats down there and creates a smell I wash everyday I clean myself thoroughly I’ve never smelled in my life before this happened I need answers please I visit my dermatologist soon but I need to know my options before

The first step is to determine if there are any other comorbidities of the spinal nervous system.If not,Primary hyperhidrosis is most likely caused by overactive sympathetic nerves in the impar ganglion.1. As a lifestyle effort, use ventilated underwear and cushions, and try not to sit for long periods of time. 2. application of liquid glycopyrrolate medications can be tried.3. subcutaneous injections of botulinum toxin can be tried.4. If the above nonsurgical efforts do not resolve, an impar ganglion block procedure may be attempted.
