Will PRP injections help dissolve nodules from HA fillers?

Question

Hello, I have nodules due to HA fillers (they have been there for over a month). I was wondering if PRP might help dissolve the nodules? I would rather stay away from hyaluronidase as this would just ruin the volume. Thank you

Hello Beautista,
Your hyaluronic acid nodules should first be dissolved using Hyaluronidase.  Once they are gone, EZ Gel PRF would be a great treatment choice for you to replace the lost volume.  It is 100% made from your own blood.  PRP on its own will not dissolve your HA nodules. Hyaluronic Acid nodules from filler injections  are an unfortunate side effect. Platelet Rich Plasma on it own,  will not dissolve the nodules.

PRP injections alone will not dissolve nodules from hyaluronic acid fillers, however it is certainly possible to dissolve nodules and restore fullness at the same time&mdash;and PRP can help you do so.Nodules are a possible side effect of HA fillers, but they are not something to be concerned about; and they will dissolve on their own typically within a year. Additionally, you can use hyaluronidase in conjunction with other therapies to both dissolve nodules and maintain the fullness received from fillers.
