In my practice, I use the Pelleve radio frequency treatment to tighten skin after liposuction or Coolsculpting. Before liposuction, I will examine the skin for elasticity and I will tell the patient if Pelleve will be enough. If I think that the patient needs skin excision with a neck lift, I will discuss that with them prior to liposuction so that there are no surprises of loose skin after the liposuction procedure.I find Pelleve to be much more tolerable than Ulthera which requires sedation and narcotics during the procedure. Pelleve is painless and has, in my opinion, more reliable results.
There's no good way to shrink loose skin so I frown on so-called skin tightening technology. If the problem is significant it might need a variation of the neck lift.

There are a variety of methods that could potentially be used, including surgical and non-surgical options. Surgical options could include a face/neck lift and non-surgical options could include procedures such as Ultherapy.

I see no reason to stop birth control pills in anticipation of such a minor procedure is liposuction of the neck. Nevertheless this is a question best addressed to your own surgeon.
