Is it possible to have a zirconia implant to replace an upper molar?

Zirconia Implants are Great! Drs. That tell you differently is because they havn't worked with them.
There are many great systems out there know like Z-Systems, CeraRoot, Straumann has a brand of zirconia implants. These implants havn't been out in the market too long so the long term studies arn't available yet. In my personal practice we are an education center for zirconia implants, We have placed hundreds and are a great solution for holistic patients or patient alergic to titanium.One thing to consider in your upper molar is your sinus maybe you will need a sinus lift ? Bonegraft?

the problem with zyrconia implants is that the strenght on posterior area is a lot and they tend to break or to have dis adjustments on the abutments, also they do not have angled abutments and you will hardly have straight implants all of them are angled.go for regular titanium implants,they are 1,000 times much better than zyrconium implants.
