I just got 4 implants (all were for missing lower molars, no extractions) done yesterday by Dr Valenzuela and here is my experience so far. They automatically sent out an email the day before offering to send a ride to pick me up at the border however when I got there and called the number it went straight to a voice mailbox that was full. Fortunately I had previously Google mapped the practice and just did the 3 minute walk over to the office. The main lobby was being remodeled (new furniture I think) and so I was lead around back by a guy stationed at the front door, into an alley way entrance and then into a small L-shaped space functioning as the waiting area which was adjacent to another room with two dental chairs... I assume they are used for simple cleanings. After signing in I was lead into the main office area where there were several room with modern equipment. There I first got a CT scan (3D) and lead into another room with nice dental chair, a giant wall TV screen and modern equipment. This is where the consultation took place. There are quite a few employees working there (I didn't count them all but I would estimate more than 10) and everyone seemed to have a specific job. Those that interfaced directly with me were fluent English speakers, others were varying degrees less so. Lots of chatter (in Spanish) that appeared they all enjoy working with each other. One person discussed the CT scan with me in detail, I told him what I wanted and he gave me options and together we worked out a plan. Then he handed the estimate off to another guy. The estimate was higher that the quote I'd gotten a couple weeks earlier in an email. However I realized it didn't price in the CT scan, or anesthesiologist or the tissue graphing, also we were going from 5 implants quoted down to 4 implants (which I agreed to, it made sense trust me). In the end, the total final estimate was $700 MORE that the original quote. Since it was still less than some others I have gotten, I felt good that it was an honest estimate and not inflated. Then they took a surfact scan digitally of my whole mouth and bite for later reference when making the crowns. The technology I saw use there was more advanced that what dentists back home had. I paid for the implant portion of the surgery with credit card. Early the next morning I saw Dr Valenzuela for the first time... I was relieved to know that he was personally going to do the implant surgery since it was what I was expecting. He asked if I had any questions or concerns... I couldn't think of anything. I went under and an hour and half later it was over. After I finally came out of it they had me driven back to my hotel. So far I consider my experience excellent. The gums and stitches look real good, very little pain and no blood. I'm eating some soft food and following the post-op instructions to the letter. I will update in 4 months after I get the crowns.

I am writing this to protect all Americans The implants in bridge that they made became infected because they were made incorrectly. I almost died and had to see another doctor to fix it

Great dentist my mouth was in terrible condition, couldn't eat at all hardly. But Dr. Jose Valenzuela pulled off the impossible and now I have a great smile and can eat anything I want. We made three trips to the good doctors office which took 3 hours each way. Doctor Valenzuela met us and explained the process I would be having. He didn't mention to us that he didn't do the veneers. He does the implants and another doctor who was very professional did an outstanding job. I am beyond happy and they are outstanding.

Chosing whether to have dental implants is a big life decision. It is a process that takes time. We did a lot of research as to which Dentist would be the most skilled and perform quality work. We chose Dr Valenzuela and are glad we did so. The staff is very friendly and most importantly, the provided the dental work we were hoping for. Thank you Dr. Valenzuela and staff!

I am so happy I chose Dr.Valenzuela to do my implants. So very compassionate and extremely professional. Everyone I met and had dealing with were absolutely great. I still cannot believe how easy this process was. The end result is the best looking smile I could have ever imagined.

I had the absolute best experience at this office. Their technology is impressive, their staff is incredible, and their true attention to detail and the cosmetic aesthetics was perfect. What I found particularly impressive is that each member of the staff seemed truly interested in and excited about the work I was having done (lumineers) and everyone was so encouraging and accommodating along the way. I feel that I got absolutely excellent value in terms of price (significantly less than I was quoted in the states) and I honestly feel that the technology, attention to detail, and the personalized support I received was superior to any treatment I've ever experienced in the states. I would also like to mention that things that would have been "nickeled and died" in the states was not the case here - any changes or additional little things that needed to be done along the way were just included in the original quote and done without question. What a wonderful experience! I received 7 implants, 1 root canal, sinus lift, bone grafts, tissue grafts, and an extraction. I was sore and swollen but the medications he prescribed worked wonders. I am home and everything is healing well. All I can say is he saved me thousands, is very professional, has modern equipment, and truly cares. The whole staff goes out of their way to help and made me feel comfortable. I am a 52 year old female and made the journey on my own from Missouri and it was 100% worth it. I cant wait until the implants integrate with my bone in 3 to 5 months and I go back for my crowns. I cant say enough good about the doctor.

He and his amazing staff gave me a consultation and by the end of the day I had one implant and one bridge. Both are excellent! I recommend this dentistry to anyone searching reviews. In the states, I was quoted a minimum base price of $4000 for my one implant. I came to Dr Valenzuela's office and got one new bridge and one implant for $3200. Thank you to entire staff!!!

Jose Valenzuela is an absolutely, amazing dentist. Not only does he do amazing work, he is also very caring and compassionate. He saved my smile after I had extreme damage to my teeth from dry mouth. I would highly recommend him!
