I use a CPAP machine at night, which includes a mask with straps across my cheeks. If I get Voluma injections in my upper cheeks, will the straps on the mask affect the Voluma?
Answer: CPAP and Voluma Thank you for your question dfisher. I understand your concern. Voluma is a filler used to enhance the appearance of the face. CPAP is a device used to help with breathing while asleep. It is strapped on around the face and sometimes the straps overlie the areas where Voluma is injected. If such pressure is placed on the area for prolonged periods such as when asleep overnight, it may affect the product. Therefore, if possible, the straps should either be adjusted or the device avoided for the first week or so after a treatment. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!

Answer: Voluma & CRAP Great question. I would first see if it is ok for you to not wear the CRAP for about a week following your injection just to be safe. If that isn't possible then bring the mask into your surgeon so that he or she can examine the straps as well as how tight they are against your face and together you can decide if it will be a risk. Hope this helps.
