Should I remove my microbead hair extensions before rhinoplasty?

I have permanent extensions with small metal beads. Do I need to have them removed before my rhinoplasty surgery ?

This question can be easily answered by your own surgeon. It could be due to cartilage graft placed as a cap to the nasal tip or is a strut graft to support the tip.

The lower third of your nose will hold onto swelling for an entire year. The diagnosis of a 'polybeak' would require an examination. If you have residual supratip swelling, you can ask your surgeon whether a dilute steroid injection may be beneficial for you. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph

The pictures that you sent aren't very clear but my guess is that these sutures were based from an alar based reduction that the surgeon performed.
