Thank you for your question regarding hydrogel injections into your buttock. The skin discoloration is your body trying to eject the hydrogel product. The pain is due to associated scar tissue around the hydrogel as well as hydrogel positioning the surrounding nerves. Also, the hydrogel does travel. I have seen the hydrogel travel from the buttock to the ankle on selected patients. In conclusion, I would suggest you have the hydrogel removed as soon as possible by a qualified plastic surgeon.
