I got hydrogel butt shots 5 years ago now I think it's traveling through my body. My butt is discolored, tender and I have stabbing pains from time to time. Could these spots be the gel traveling? Sweet baby Jesus!
Answer: Silicone does travel Hi Myiesha, I'm sorry to hear of your condition. As you may already know, there are no official medical studies on the effects of these silicone injections. However, I treat hundreds of silicone patients every year and what we've seen to be true is that the substance can travel throughout the body. I urge you to seek treatment from a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in this condition. I wish you the best of luck on this journey! - Dr. Nik
