For lip augmentation, the best is to go slow, you may need just 1cc of hyaluronic acid based filler, to get the size that you are looking for. After the injections you need to wait for about 4 weeks and if you still want a little more volume, then you may have another 1cc. You just need some time to adjust to new size on your lips before deciding if you want more or just 1cc is enough.
Volume is just one component of beautiful lips. Shape and distance from nose to lip are other important pieces to it, as well as "advaced" techniques in lipstick application (in the case of the KJ photo). While it is impossible to make one's lips (or nose, or face, etc.) look exactly like someone elses, I do encourage men and women to bring in photos of what they like. It looks like you have pretty good volume, so if you never had lip augmentation before I would consider starting with 1 syringe of Restylane or Juvederm (about 1 cc). More can always be added. If the product is placed properly, it can curl your lips and give them a sexier pout that KJ demonstrates in her photo.

Fibromyalgia is not a contraindication to undergoing lip fillers. However, you will need to discuss with your injector exactly how you manifest symptoms of fibromyalgia and whether it makes sense to move forward with injections. I hope this information is helpful for you.Stephen Weber MD,...
By the looks of your photo, I would say that you can achieve a nice result with filler to the lips. If you are still interested, you should consider having the filler done again. Be sure to ask for before and after photos and ask your injector about his or her experience dealing with your t...
