Hello everyone! I just want to know what my options are or what should I do. I had my rhinoplasty on Dec. 14, 2022. I am unhappy with the results. My nasal bridge is not only wider, but bulges outwards causing this inverted v appearance. I love my side profile, yet dislike my frontal view. I told my doctor if he could fix it, yet he said he could put filler. Is there anyway I could narrow my bridge and have a better result?

Answer: Wide bony nasal dorsum You can absolutely have your upper nasal dorsum narrowed so that it reduces the width and even help with the appearance of the inverted V deformity. No certain how filler is going to remedy the issues that you are concerned with regarding your nose except perhaps to help with the inverted V deformity.

Answer: Your assesssment is correct. Please don't put filler in your nose! More... Filler is, obviously, some space-occupying material that is injected under the skin. When you do that, the area where it is injected will look bigger. That's not what you're looking for. You're looking for something to appear smaller. It does appear that your nasal bones are wider than they need to be. They make what looks like bumps on the bridge on the 3/4 views, and if they were in a narrower position, those bumps would be less, or they would go away entirely. Width, in the bridge or at the tip, often looks like "bump" on the 3/4 views of the nose. If you do decide to have a revision, make sure you consider whether to address any other areas, because you always want to minimize the number of operations you have. You didn't post any profile views, which would round out a surgeon's ability to understand what the nose looks like right now and to make any other recommendations.
