Mini boob job - is a smaller implant (less than 200cc) significantly more suitable for active and athletic people?

I'm a petite outdoor sports person considering getting a mini boob job. Is the smaller implant like less than 200cc significantly more suitable for active and athletic people? I do some sports like rock climbing, hand standing, push up and some other will involve pectorals. Will the surgery affect my future sports ability and if there is a unique technique for breast enhancement for athletic women?

Smaller implants are more comfortable with an active lifestyle. Small implants would be under 300cc.  Smaller implants are associated with less malposition and bottoming out.  Follow up with a plastic surgeon to help select what size implant is best for you.  The recent trend in breast augmentation is for a more natural look, with smaller implants

Yes, smaller breast implants, like those under 200cc, can be a more suitable option for you.
This is the reason why:

-Minimal Interference: Exercises involving upper body strength and mobility are less likely to be interfered with by smaller implants.

Based on the breast measurements, each patient has a range of implant sizes/profiles/diameters that can be selected. I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. Hi! Excellent question. Yes, smaller implants are definitely more manageable. A specific size is hard to define without an evaluation or at least some photos. A follow-up question with photos would help. You might want to discuss the options of going bellow or over the muscle with your surgeon. Depending your your current breast size and body type you may even be ok with going a little bit over 200. So, as long as your implants aren’t too big and heavy they will not affect your future smarts ability.

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

It is very common to place a smaller implant when you live a very active lifestyle. It is important to try on implant sizers to see what you like personally. If you do indeed like a smaller implant, it is important to make sure that volume can appropriately fit you (measurements will be done). There is no unique technique done for smaller implants being placed. You may notice a slight weakness in some physical ability (ie: decline bench, dips, etc) but you are free to start training again after 6 weeks post op.

Smaller, more conservative implants are great for those looking for mild enhancement to the breast volume.  Once healed from surgery you would be able to return to active sports such as rock climbing with a range of implant sizes, not just smaller ones.
