I received IPL in November of 2023 on my back to treat dark spots from acne and KP. After my treatment, I felt like I was on fire and could not even put my bra back on. It’s been 8 months and the laser burns still exist. It has faded some but still noticeable. I’m avoiding the sun this summer so the laser marks do not get worst. Is there anything I can use or do to completely get the burns to disappear?

Yes, you can still get an IPL treatment over the upper lip with dental crowns. Sensitivity can happen; to avoid too much discomfort you can always place a piece of gauze in between the lip and teeth.
Thank you for your question! IPL is an effective treatment for treating vascular lesions including rosacea. A series of 1-3 treatments may be necessary to achieve desired results.
I'm really sorry that this has happened to you. It's precisely because of events like this that I have been cautioning my regular followers for years already to be very leery of falling prey to the heavy marketing hype and social media buzz that surrounds all the expensive, "next big thing"...
