I’ve had redness on my face my whole whole life, more predominant on one side of face. It gets worse when I drink wine or when I’m hot - assuming it’s rosacea but never been diagnosed. Will IPL treat it; if not what will? Also prone to blushing which makes it temporarily significantly worse.

Answer: IPL for Facial Redness Hello! Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment is particularly effective for reducing facial redness, including conditions like rosacea and broken capillaries. It can significantly reduce overall facial redness, making the skin tone more even. IPL is effective in managing rosacea by reducing the appearance of dilated blood vessels and persistent redness. It should only take a few sessions of treatment to see results. The redness and visible blood vessels will gradually diminish, resulting in a more even skin tone. Maintenance treatments may be needed to sustain the results, especially for chronic conditions like rosacea. If it turns out that you do have rosacea, this can be a great option as it is non-invasive and requires minimal downtime.
