About a year ago I had Ellacor done. It left me with square grids of pinhole scarring. My cheeks look like Ellacor’s version of pointelle. It’s truly ruined my self esteem, and is very difficult to cover with makeup. My provider recommended IPL sessions (as recommended by their Ellacor representative). However, I’m leery. I’ve seen mixed reviews on IPL and don’t want to deal with more device damage, or the change of hyperpigmentation on top of scarring. How does IPL do with scars? Side effects?
