Does thermage cause facial fat loss and filler disintegration?

Thermage is a skin tightening treatment that delivers radiofrequency energy into the dermal layers to constrict tissue and boost collagen levels. It does not work past the dermal structure to affect the subcutaneous fat underneath the dermis. When this treatment is performed by an experienced, board-certified dermatologist, the procedure is both safe and effective and will definitely not cause fat loss.  Many fillers are placed deeply and Thermage certainly won’t affect them. For fillers placed more superficially, Thermage may be performed right over the filler later without changing the filler at all. Many studies have documented this fact.
