Veneer wrong color! Is it possible to remove a tooth without damaging the veneer?

One of my vaneers popped off and I had it recemented today by a different doctor...he used clear cement vs white cement and my tooth looks slightly darker. Is it possible to remove tooth and reverent withouth damaging vaneer?!?

I am sorry to hear that the color does not match after the re bonding of the debonded veneer.Different values of cement are often used to lighten or mute the color of the veneer against the natural teeth.  It is always best when possible to have the same dentist rebond veneers using the same material, or to have the new dentist find out what cement was used by the old dentist, when possible.Unfortunately, once a veneer is bonded to a tooth there is no way to remove the veneer without damaging the veneer and a new veneer would need to be made for you.

I don't think you will have the option to remove the veneer.  Once it isbonded in place it is on for good.  Although we should assumeyours popping off was a rare incident.  There may be a remote possibility that the dentist can use one of their instrument to try and get it off but you risk fracturing it.The question you have to ask yourself is can you live with the color difference.  If notI would go back to the dentist that placed it and he/she know what happened.
