I have always had lots of extra skin even when I was young. It’s always bothered me so I went recently to a doctor to see if I could be covered by eye insurance for a blepharoplasty, but he told me I have a heavy brow and removing any of my upper lid would make it look worse. Is this true? He also suggested I get a brow lift about 10 years from now, I’m currently only 23.
Answer: Brow lift vs. eyelid surgery?? Based on these photos, I do not see reason for any of above surgeries; unless you want to lower your high hairline? Foulness of lateral portion of upper eyelids is sign of youth. Shaping of brows by a make up artist and appropriate make up would be my suggestion. Good luck.

Answer: First, see these posts for what they are-a type of entertainment. Don't make medical decisions without the benefit of a detailed in person consultation that includes an actual detailed assessment by the consulting surgeon. Unfortunately, many surgeons now seem to bypass the detailed assessment. That leads to cookie cutter surgery. It is immediately obvious that you have wonderful youthful beauty. In considering what to do, it is essential to understand that surgery can be harmful. Yes, surgery can rob you of your youthful beauty. A trichophytic forehead lift is an excellent example of these risks. Surgeons who offer them often overestimate there ability to hide a scar in plain sight along the hair line. Unfortunately these procedures always create visible compression of the hair along the healed incision line that never really looks right in my opinion. Your photos are not optimal to understand your needs. Even the straight ahead eyestrip photograph is taken from an elevated position. It appears that you have mild upper eyelid ptosis. I believe that induces a mild compensatory brow elevation. Correction of the ptosis with surgery is done with an anchor blepharoplasty but you do not really have abundant upper eyelid folds. You need structure in the upper eyelid rather than removal of the upper eyelid fold which will skeletonize the eyes. Your eyes can be your best feature but you need to find the right surgeon.

Answer: Browlift Thanks for the question and photos. After reviewing your photos, I think your brow and lids are nice and full. At your age , I would recommend no surgery be done.
