This is a great question and weather you tip or not for your medical procedures depends on what your comfortable with and the practice policies. Here at SkinMD we are a non tipping facility because we know the treatments are pricy and would rather have you put your money towards your treatments. You can always ask the medical practice your going to what their protocol is. Enjoy your treatments.
Usually not necessary in a doctor's clinic but if in a medical spa or with an aesthetician that you really like then it's nice gesture to do so. They will also appreciate it a lot.
Thank you for your question. Different places may have different policies on this. In our practice, we are provided MEDICAL treatments, not a service, so tipping is not only not necessary, it is not allowed. You would not go to your internist for a checkup on your blood pressure and tip them after the visit, right? Same rule would apply here in my opinion. Hope this helps!Dallas Buchanan, MDVIVIFY plastic surgeryTampa, FL
Tips are always appreciated, but you might consider doing it at the end of all your treatments. But you can also just say thank you. You are not obligated to tip.
No, we do not accept tips for our Emsculpt Neo treatments. Tips are generally not allowed in most medical practices.Dr. Alonso Martin, MD
Hello and thanks for your question!Firstly I would say that your provider should be applying the paddles, confirming you are feeling the correct therapy, and making adjustments during the procedure based on what you feel. That way, you get the most out of your treatment.Tipping is not necessary. I will tell you that in our practice, we simply do not allow tips, since the excellent service is already included!Hope this helps!
I think of EmSculpt as a medical treatment, and since you don't tip for medical treatments you'd get in a doctor's office, you don't need to tip for Emsculpt!
I’ve not heard of patients tipping in this industry. I certainly don’t think it’s expected. For physicians Current ethical standards are that we should not except gifts of any substantial value from our patients. It could be different with nurses but you should not feel pressured or feel like you need to tip ever in this circumstance.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
I would recommend going the full 30 minutes to get maximum benefits both with the muscle and fat. Otherwise, you are somewhat short changing your treatments.
Hi NV928, thanks for the questions. Unfortunately, patients with any type of metal in their bodies are not candidates for Emsculpt Neo. Thanks for the question. Dr. Alonso Martin, MD
Yes, you can get EMSculpt prior to surgery, especially if that area is not having surgery. If you treat the surgical site, I would leave at least one week in between treatment and surgery.
