If I decide to stop Accutane mid-treatment due to bad side effects, will my acne come back full force & worse than before?

Usually a six month course is recommended, but in actuality, many people seem to stop around 4-5 months.  You may experience a resurgence in your acne, but it is likely that it will not be as bad as before treatment.  No guarantees, however.

If Accutane is stopped before the full course, the acne may flare but it is unlikely that it would be worse than before. For the best results and to ensure a good treatment it is best to continue until your dermatologist recommends to stop based on clinical judgment.
