Will drinking a protien shake with vitamin A be OK while on Accutane?

I have heard you're not supposed to supplement with Vitamin A while on Accutane. I workout on a daily basis, and drink one protien shake a day. The amount of vitamin A is 10%; Is this ok? or should i take it out completely.

While my patients take Isotretinoin, I recommend that they avoid all additional Vitamin A supplements.  Patients may take a multivitamin if they like, but taking additional vitamin A tablets should be avoided.  Vitamin A, D, E, and K are lipid soluble.  If you take excess Vitamin A, D, E, and K they build up in your body and may cause toxicity.
