Combination of different fillers is often necessary to achieve optimal results. Different fillers have different characteristics that make them more amenable to certain areas and patients. The best advice is to seek out an expert in facial injectables and have an open discussion about expectations prior to treatment.
fillers can be combined at the same time. I suggest you see a cosmetic dermatologist with experience in facial sculpting. Best, Dr. Emer.
Yes, you can. It is best to seek an experienced Board Certified PS, or Board Certified Dermatologist or a facial Surgeon for in person consultation
You can absolutely mix fillers in my opinion since some perform better in certain areas. You need to speak to your Plastic Surgeon about your needs and desires so that he may choose the best filler for your needs.

Of course! Juvederm and Restylane can be used together without a problem In fact, one can use them in the same place (i.e. Juvederm Ultra Plus for deep folds and Restylane Silk for the fine lines above).
It is perfectly fine to combine fillers during a treatment. Some of the fillers do well in areas that others don't. They are very similar products and there is no interaction.
Hi Amarsingh1, I frequently combine Juvederm and Restylane. I will use Juvederm in regions like the nasolabial folds, lips, or cheeks. I like to use Restylane in the tear troughs. They are both hyaluronic acid products but Restylane is thinner and more maleable. That's why I like to use it in regions of the face with thinner skin such as the lower eyelid region.
Yes, I often will use one filler for an area especially the tear troughs, but use others for other areas of the face.
Thank you for your question. It is safe to use a variety of fillers on the same day. Consider each filler to be a different brush for your physician artist. In some areas, you need a broad brush to create a certain type of effect. Other areas need a fine brush to fill fine lines. Every hyaluronic acid filler (#Restylane, #Juvederm, #Voluma, #Volift, #Vobella, #Perlane, #Belotero) had different properties when injected in the skin. Some of these fillers cause more swelling (greater hydrophilic property), while others provide more lift. Please find a dermatologist or plastic surgeon who has extensive experience with all the current fillers. It is better to have multiple "brushes" to create the perfect effect.Best of luck,Suneel Chilukuri, M.D.Houston, TX
Thank you for your question. Your lips look great!! If you feel after 2 weeks you need more volume please return to your physician for additional volume placement, I would not recommend the fullips device now or in the future, as all it will do is lead to increased lip wrinkling (I.e.: pu...
Many consider Juvederm Ultra Plus® XC to be the longest-lasting of the Juvederm® family of lip fillers, however, this varies widely among individuals. The only way to see which is the best is to sequentially try them all!
Dear leno1:I love over the challenging questions my patients throw my way! This warning may be in the package insert but in day-to-day practice we have never seen an association. There are bacterial proteins in dust that can worsen asthma, for example. Reactions to dust are what we call...
