Chin Lipo Complications. Will my speech and smile be permanently altered for life?

I’m 3 weeks post-op on my chin lipo, I have a lisp and my smile is off. I’ve told my Dr. & he said I just needed time to heal. I’m really upset bc I’m more self conscious now than before surgery to the point where I don’t want to be photographed/avoid phone calls/going out in public. My smile is no longer “full”, my bottom lip semi covers my top row of teeth when I try to smile & my lisp is driving me insane! Can someone please tell me if my speech and smile will be permanently altered for life?
