When can I wear makeup over chin Laser Liposuction scars?

I appreciate your question. Six days is fairly quick after liposuction to attend a major social event. There is no guarantee that your swelling will be gone entirely by then. As far as makeup, some physicians will give you the go-ahead to apply makeup soon after treatment while others might want you to wait a bit longer to give your skin ample time to heal depending on what type of cannular they used. I would discuss these concerns with your doctor to determine whether the timing of your procedure is the best for you.

When you get liposuction by the tum. micro canulas technique, then there is only 1 day of downtime and you look so much better the very next day and can wear makeup etc....right away.  There are no sutures and most patients go to work after 1 day.

I definitely do not recommend wearing makeup that soon after chin liposuction. Typically sutures will stay in for about 7 days and at that point, you would be able to conceal them, but should really try and stay away from any harsh chemicals or makeup for at least 2 weeks in that area. Best of luck!
