Hi, I have a history of DVT and some doctors don't want to take risks for Lipo and J-Plasma on me, even if I have letter for surgery clearance from a vascular doctor. Thank you.

Answer: What non-surgical treatment could be work to lose fat and tighten the skin? Thank you for your picture and questions. If the area in the photo is the area you want to improve, this is a very tough area to treat surgically and there are very few, if any, non-surgical treatments that would be helpful. In regards to your risk profile regarding the DVT, you need to discuss this in detail with your surgeon. I would suggest that you need an in-person consultation with a plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Best of luck!Dallas R. Answer: A true buttock or lower body lift It is very difficult to give you good advise without in person consultation. Generally, your options should be buttock lift, which will lift, shape and, if needed, decrease or increase size of buttocks. More extensive option is lower body lift. This surgery should be done by an experienced board certified plastic surgeon who will provide postoperative prophylaxis for trombo-emboilism and tight follow up. Good luck.
