When will my breasts fluff and drop?

Dear eryn77,Dropping of implants is part of the healing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implants slowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It can take about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their final position.I understand that you are worried about your implants are not dropping as expected. Please do allow some time for the healing process to occur. If after six months, you are not satisfied with the appearance of your breast, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns.Daniel Barrett, MD

Without photos or an exam, I can only speak in generalities:  larger implants take longer to drop, particularly in smaller women.   Massage can help, but larger implants may take 3 to 6 months to drop and fluff to their final levels.  Best to follow up with your PS regarding your concerns.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

Dear eryn77, if your breasts are uneven, you cannot get cleavage, they sit low in your chest and they fall out to your armpits when you lay down 5 months after surgery then it sounds like your results are less than ideal and you need correction.  I don't need to see your photos to determine that!  You need to have a serious discussion with your surgeon about it.  Even if he/she offers to correct it make sure he/she is capable of doing it because if you had such bad experience to begin with then it's possible that your surgeon is unable to do better.  Get other opinions before you go back to surgery.
