The soreness you're experiencing is quite normal after tummy tuck/abdominoplasty. It is most likely due to your hunched position and muscular strain/stiffness after the operation. It usually works outs after about two weeks, but can sometimes be helped by taking a muscle relaxer.I would discuss the matter with your surgeon and seek their advice.I wish you the best.Dr. Gabbay.

You seem to be doing very well after a tummy tuck.  Your hip pain is likely a result of swelling and the fact that your abdominal muscles are needing time to heal so your hips and back are supporting you more.

It is normal to feel stiff after this surgery. I also find that the hip discomfort is common with liposuction. A muscle relaxant may help with the tightness.

Hello and thank you for your question.  I think this is related to postop swelling (remember gravity always wins), so it may be below the area of your lipo that you swell and feel the most tight.    Also, the hips and back could have musculoskeletal soreness due to hunching from the tummy tuck.  All the best.Dr. Gill
