Lactic Acid Peel - will this purplish reddish color be permanent?

Hello, I have already done multiple 40% lactic acid peels successfully with no side affects. But the last time I did it I went over 3 "scabs" (pimples that were healing). Now there is no more scab but it looks like theres a scab there. The skin is actually flat and a purplish reddish color. Will this be permanent? I've been applying Neosporin and tamanu oil on the marks.
