Does Ultherapy cause tumor growth?

Question

I have 2benign tumors on both lymph nodes in neck. Already had mri &biopsy confirm tumors not cancerous! But I have jowls double chin sagging neck skin. Can only do nonsurgical I want to guarantee ultherapy doesn't cause tumor growth before getting it on my chin/neck. Online research is divided half say ultherapy does cause tumor growth half say doesn't. Which is it? Will ultherapy cause tumors to grow or is it safe to get over tumors? What is 100% safe procedure that won't cause tumor growth?

My suggestion is not to do any cosmetic procedures till the tumors are taken care of.  Ultherapy itself has not been shown to cause tumors in any studies.  Talk to you physician before you decide on anything. Best, Dr. Emer.

There is no evidence that Ultherapy causes tumor growth. Further, the deliver of ultrasound energy is limited to the superficial tissues of the neck and face. Your lymph nodes will not receive any of the treatment energy during an Ultherapy session. You should schedule a consultation with a practice that uses Ultherapy for more specific advice. Ulthera is deep ultrasound to help stimulate new collagen growth.  There is no way that it will also be stimulating tumor growth.

I don't know where you are getting your "research" from, but it is absolutely false. Ultherapy is FDA approved and shown to be safe and effective. If it caused tumor growth then no one would be performing the procedure. Of course, no treatment is guaranteed and you should only proceed after being informed and accepting all of the risks and benefits associated with a treatment.
