Hi. The simple answer is yes. Make sure it is sent to pathology for examination along with the breast tissue removed. Good luck, Dr PG
It's really up to your surgeon. Call him or her and ask if removing the mole is feasible. Best, Dr. Nazarian
A breast reduction includes removing skin and breast tissue and moving the position of the nipple higher to create a more perky look. If the mole is within the area of tissues to be removed, it will automatically be removed. I have removed moles not in the area of surgery on my patients as well. Best to double check with your surgeon to see if this is possible in your case.
Occasionally I perform is so my own patients and I don't see any contraindication to doing so.Your surgeon will explain the feasibility in your particular case to you.
If you are having a breast reduction and you have a mole on the breast then this can be removed at the same time. It would be unusual that it could not. Please double check with your plastic surgeon.
Hello dear, thansk for your question, in lots of patients the mole can be removed at the same time of the surgery (breast reduction) but I recommend you to make an appointment with a Board Certified Plastic surgeon for an evaluation. Good luck and best wishes :)
Yes, in many cases a mole can be removed at the same time as a breast reduction. Best to have your surgeon evaluated you for this in person. Good luck.
Best to ask your chosen surgeon this question. we do not know you or the type of breasts reduction being planned????????
Congratulations on your decision to proceed with breast reduction surgery; this operation tends to be one of the most patient pleasing operations we perform. Most likely the mole you are referring to can be removed at the time of surgery. whether a separate score will result will depend on the mole's location on your breast. In my practice, I caution patients about removing benign lesions around the sternal area; the scars in these areas can be potentially problematic. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.
It will depend on the exact position of the mole on your breast, but it is very likely that it can be removed at the same time of the reduction.
Hello Dear, thanks for your question, maybe you dont have to be worry about it, but I recommend you to make an appointment with your PS for an evaluation. Good luck and best wishes :)
It is almost impossible to predict cup size based on volume removed. Furthermore, cup size is not a good barometer as it can vary greatly between bra manufactures. Focus more on your desired look. And speak with your surgeon. He or she has seen you in person and knows your case best -- Dr. Nazarian
Hi. It really depends on your current symptoms and your particular policy. I would get the appropriate documentation from your primary medical provider and then see your plastic surgeon who can submit a letter to your insurance carrier to see if that would be a covered benefit.Good luck and t...
