Is it normal to hear fluid movement from the breasts after reduction surgery?

I initially thought the noise was coming from my stomach. It is noticeable when turning over or changing position. The noise seems to be coming from my right breast which is visually larger than the left.

It is almost impossible to predict cup size based on volume removed. Furthermore, cup size is not a good barometer as it can vary greatly between bra manufactures. Focus more on your desired look. And speak with your surgeon. He or she has seen you in person and knows your case best -- Dr. Nazarian

I would advise you to make an appointment to see your surgeon to determine whether or not you are, in fact, suffering from fat necrosis. Then, together, you can come up with a treatment plan. So sorry to hear that you are in pain. Best, Dr. Nazarian

You will need to call your insurance company and ask if they cover breast reductions and if so, find out what the criteria are. Then, schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area (link below) to discuss. Best, Dr. Nazarian
