Is it normal to hear fluid movement from the breasts after reduction surgery?

In the short aftermath of breast reduction there may be some fluid between the skin in the remaining breast mound. This will resolve with time. Large collections of fluid would require drainage. Keep your surgeon advised.

It is not normal to hear fluid within your breasts after a breast reduction. This may represent a seroma.  The seroma needs drainage.  Physical exam by your plastic surgeon can definitely determine if this is the case and the most appropriate method of drainage.

If you hear fluid sloshing around in you breast after a reduction and the drain is no longer in, then you may have a seroma.  Best to see your surgeon. He may need to aspirate the fluid.

The combination of greater size along with "noise" makes me think that you have a fluid accumulation present; let your surgeon know of your findings. Best wishes.
