Unfortunately, you have not told us your bra size. If you are a 32 or 34 each 100 cc’s of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change. If you are a 36 or 38 each 200 cc’s of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change. From this, you can compute the volume required to achieve your desired goal. I always recommend small silicone gel implants placed retro-pectoral since they look and feel more natural, are more stable, less likely to ripple or have complications needing revision.

very important. In general, size is best
be determined during an in person consultation.
The factors included in this determination can be chest size, amount of
breast tissue initially present, skin elasticity, and of course, a patient’s
expectations.I
will say that in general, one year post op, when women are asked if they like
their size, do they wish they went larger or smaller, more than 50% of women
will wish they went bigger. Just keep

of breast augmentations each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's
website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can

I would recommend using 3 dimensional imaging to visualize what the implant sizes would look like in you. A picture is worth a thousand words. You may find that the implants look better in a different size than you expected.

You would need a full assesment of your breast base diameter and skin stretch but you should be thinking in the 270-330 range

I perform a lot of breast implant surgery on small women who want a result that is also small and very natural. The dilemma for some is the more squishy feeling of a traditional silicone implant where sometimes rippling could be palpable, or a form stable implant that feels a bit more firm, but will reduce or eliminate the concern of rippling. I would suggest looking at lots and lots of photos from plastic surgeons experienced with small breast implants, then during a consultation you can actually feel the implants and listed to the suggestion of your plastic surgeon. I would suggest you find a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) that you trust and are comfortable with. Thanks for your question. I think it would be very beneficial for you to actually try implants on. Mentor has a sizing system that allows patients to try on implants prior to actually having the surgery. You are able to try on the implants and bring in some of your tops so that there won't be any surprises after the surgery has been completed. This is something that we routinely offer as it really takes the guess work out of the process.

I have many patients in your exact situation. As a plastic surgeon I am looking to achieve a harmonic result with the body as a whole. There are special measurements that help me decide what size implant is perfect for each patient. This idea is harmony!! The measurements that I take help me calculate the best size implant that will give sufficient projection. Also the skin is resilient and can accommodate to the size of the implants and with time they will have a natural fall and softness as if they were always part of the patient. It is practically impossible for the patient to decide what size implant they need without the proper guidance from the plastic surgeon that specializes in Breast Augmentation. In the end you need to state your expectations and then you need to trust the doctor to help you reach those results.
