I’m currently a flat D cup, according to Victoria’s Secret, I’m a double D. I have a scheduled breast augmentation and lift this coming September. I don’t want to go bigger and my doctor recommends putting in 100cc silicone implants. What do you doctors out there recommend? I want volume and fullness again. My concern is after the procedure that my boobs won’t look any different since I’m only getting 100cc’s in each. Thoughts??

Answer: How to Add Volume to the Breast During a Lift Without Going Too Big. If you have determined that when wearing a bra, which simulates a lift, that your breasts have satisfactory volume, then you would not need an implant. If you have tried on sizers in a bra and determined that 100 cc does not give you sufficient volume, then you would want a larger implant. If it looks like a larger implant will make you look too big, but still want more upper pole fullness, then you can have some reduction of the lower pole of the breast (a reduction) to accommodate a larger implant.

Answer: Breast lift and augmentation considerations You've got a fair amount of your own breast tissue and a saggy nipple position - no question - you need a breast lift. A smooth round sub-muscular silicone implant will add upper pole volume and projection. Check my before/after galleries for more details on this procedure.

Answer: Breast lift A 100cc implant is so small it will not make much of a difference at all. What you really need is a breast lift. You should discuss this in more detail with your plastic surgeon prior to your September surgery.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno
