I had an axilas breast augmentation one month 400cc uhp, I have realised that my boobs have some dents under them and you can see them even more when you put them together. Is that normal? Was the pocket made properly? Will they go down? I have spoken to PS, looking for a second opinion.
Answer: 1 month post op axilar breast augmentation. Have dents under my breasts. Is this normal? Was the pocket made properly? (photos) Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. I see your areas of concern but remember that you are still early in your recovery. If the muscle release was performed appropriately, these areas of indentation should stretch with time to afford you a more natural look and shape to each breast. Allow your results at least 6 months time before assessing the long-term aesthetic outcome. Hope this helps.

Answer: One month after transaxillary augmentation One month after augmentation, there is still swelling present, and the implants have not settled. Small deformities and asymmetries are common at this point, and most will resolve over time. If the problem has not resolved after three months, surgical revision will be required. The transaxillary approach , while leaving a cosmetically excellant scar, is difficult to perform well, and can result in high placement of the implants due to incomplete dissection of the lower , inner part of the pocket and release of the muscle. You also appear to have scars below both breasts resulting from drain placement that will most likely require revision.

Answer: BA results Dear Libelle, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 1 month post op.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery.
