You have a few options to improve your chin and jawline. If you’re not sure you’re ready for surgery, but still want to improve and strengthen your chin and jawline, I’d suggest augmenting your chin and jaw with Sculptra and/or Voluma. If you like your new look, you can make it permanent with a chin implant. Lip augmentations with fillers is a great option to improve the fullness, suppleness and symmetry of the lips. Results can be very natural-looking and will feel very natural. I prefer to use a micro cannula to inject the lips to prevent bruising. Fat transfer and implants are two alternatives. Look for a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon who is an expert in fillers to discuss your desired results and concerns and go over the cost of your procedure. I hope this helps.
Without an exam your question cannot be answered. You will need to see an Oral/Maxillofacial surgeon to see if othognathic surgery, genioplasty or using an implant is best for your specific case. It should be noted that patients with severely weak jaws or abnormally functioning jaws may be better treated with other facial surgery (orthognathic surgery), although a chin augmentation may be an option at a later time. These patients should seek the advice of a plastic surgeon to determine which course is right for them. Here is some information to help you make this decision: Candidates for Chin Augmentation - Patients whose chin profiles are weak but have normally functioning jaws are candidates for Chin Augmentation. Many of these candidates have used injectable fillers in the past to strengthen the protrusion of their chins, but are looking for a permanent solution. If you are one of these patients, then you are a likely candidate for chin augmentation#weakchin #chinimplant
Yes you can benefit from all of your desires. A consultation is the most important step. Your lips can be augmented with a filler to let you see if you like the "new" look. To minimize the discomfort of an injection, I provide my patients with nitros oxide - a gas that is used in dental practices and is now available in plastic surgeons offices. It has a very fast onset and no lingering after effects as compared to pain medications. A surgical procedure will allow for a more lasting result. For your chin, I provide computer morphing were you can see potential outcomes without having surgery. I also recommend that you bring in pictures of chin profiles from magazines that you like and do not like. The more the better. This really helps with pre-operative communication. A small chin implant and perhaps some neck liposuction might help your profile. Lip fillers (Juvederm) are safe and effective.
You are candidate for chin implant to improve your facial profile. The size depends on your desire and the experience of your plastic surgeon.Medium/large size chin implant would be fine.In terms of your lips you have two options:Either to have a permanent result with a w-plasty (advancement flaps of your oral mucosa without visible scars) or to augment your lips with injectable materials (Hylouronic acid) that last 8-12 months. In the second option you need to repeat injections once a year.
The photographs demonstrate a weak and recessive chin profile for which a chin implant can improve. Augmenting the chin forward will help with facial balance and proportions, especially with respect to your nose. For many examples of chin implants, please see the link and the video below
Hi, I have performed many facial shaping procedures using dermal fillers, silastic facial implants (cheek, chin, lips), liposuction and/or facelifts for over 30 years. From the photos, your cheeks are very flat in the front, the chin is slightly weak, the is some excess skin under the chin, the lips are thin and the slight bulge on the upper lip is a section of enlarged (hypertrophied) muscle (there is essentially no fatty layer around the mouth). Following my beauty principles, women look the most feminine, youthful and attractive with heart shaped faces. Heart shaped faces have cheeks that are full and round in the front. Cheek augmentation with a dermal filler or using silastic cheek implants for a permanent enhancement will create full, round cheeks that will feminize the entire face. I have performed many Chin Augmentations using chin implants for over 30 years. From the photos, your chin is weak. A weak chin creates an imbalance making the nose appear larger, the mid face top heavy and the lower face look short that de-emphasizes the lips and allows early formation of a double chin. Chin augmentation using a chin implant will add projection to the chin creating harmony and balance to the lower face. I have found that placement of a silastic chin implant, through a small curved incision under the chin (also allows excess skin removal) to be very safe, quick, highly effective and far less invasive than a sliding genioplasty. I perform chin implant surgery in 30 minutes or less, often using a local anesthetic alone. Dermal fillers can also be used to augment the chin. The lips are thin. I have performed many lip augmentation procedures using dermal fillers or lip implants for over 30 years. From the photos, your upper lip is small compared to your lower. Following my beauty principles, the lips should be full with the upper lip approximately 75 % the size of the lower lip for the lips to appear balanced. The lips can be augmented using a dermal filler or a Permalip implant. Dermal fillers and lip implants offer a much more reliable volume for augmentation of the lips than permanent fillers or fat injections which are associated with increased, unwanted, side effects. The back portion of your jaw line is a bit weak and can be augmented, without making your face appear masculine, using precise placement of a dermal filler (I prefer using Restylane Lyft). Hope this helps.
You need to have patience with your body as it begins to heal. The skin, bone and cartilage are all traumatized during surgery. Inflammation (swelling) is the normal response and will help your nose to heal and look beautiful in the end. If, one year from now, you are unhappy with your nose,...
