I am 3 months post op. Mentor smooth round moderate profile saline 330cc's under the muscle via the armpit. I don't like the way they've dropped - too far apart and my right is clearly smaller and further off to the side. My PS says aggressive massage will fix but I don't see how that's possible.

Answer: Dr. Kayser Sorry to hear about your experience. It is likely that you had asymmetry prior to the surgery as most women do but also that you had some drooping that an implant is just not designed to compensated for, however, the implants may settle and drop further over time. It's still early in your recovery so give it more time - at least 6 months before you consider any other surgeries. Hope this helps and have a wonderful day! Dr. Kayser - St. Clair Shores, MI

Answer: What could/should be done to fix asymmetry, size and placement? Hi there and thanks for your question. Obviously it is very hard to pass judgement from one photo and without a really physical exam. Your breast mounds appear to have been with wide cleavage before surgery and that is going to be difficult to change completely with the augmentation alone. I wonder if you had asymmetry before surgery? You probably would benefit from a lift to improve the symmetry. I suggest to go back and give your plastic surgeon and give him/ her the opportunity to discuss this with you. He or she knows you best and can evaluate the situation in person, and make a good clinical decision. I hope this has helped, good luck.
