Answer: Concert 1 week after a BA? Thank you for your question. Every surgeon will have a different opinion and varying recommendations on what is reasonable to do and what is not. In general, refraining from vigorous activity is ideal for the first several weeks. I usually tell people that reasonable activities like going to the store, out to eat are ok. A concert can also be reasonable as long as you are careful. Remember to never mix alcohol with pain pills. This can be a dangerous combination. Best of luck.

Answer: Mobility 1 week after Surgery In general , you should take it easy--Concerts have a fair number of inebriated people who bump into you and are unpredictable. You can get a hematoma if your not careful. I generally give my patients precaution to do any activities with unpredictablitly or long drives

Answer: likelihood that I will be able to go to a concert 1 week after surgery As you know pain is very subjective. Some people tolerate pain better than others injure her ability to attend his concert will depend highly on how you tolerate the discomfort that will follow your postoperative period. I personally tell my patients that the majority of them will not want to do much for the first week postoperatively. However you are in getting implants are very large and discomfort should not be extensive. Just please do not mix alcohol consumption with your narcotic use. Also keep the incisions is clean as possible.

Answer: Breast augmentation Thank you for your question. I do not see a reason why you should not be able to go to a concert one week after your surgery. You may be a little sore at that point. If you are taking pain meds I would avoid drinking alcohol at the concert. I would check with you plastic surgeon to make sure that they are ok with you going. Good luck and hope you enjoy the concert.

Answer: Recovery Time of Under the Muscle Breast Augmentation Thank you for your question. I would recommend discussing it with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to see if they feel it is safe for you to do so. I think it depends on the type of concert. If it will be large crowds that are constantly moving the risk of you getting bumped into and possibly hurt are higher. Pressure on the breast too early post operatively can lead to complications in healing. You may still be having some discomfort that early after your surgery and therefore may still be taking narcotics. This is also not safe in a big crowd. You may feel fine and there will be no problem at all with you going if you are careful. Make the decision a few days after your surgery when you see how you are feeling. Best of luck.
