Is there any way to slim down very chubby fingers? (photo)

Now, I realise this is a bit of a funny question, and no, it's not a huuuge, debilitating thing, but I've had these fat fingers my entire life and I'm not too fond of them. I'm 31 years old so it's not like it's that youthful fullness anymore. :D I'm not overweight and it's not swelling/bloating either, because this is how they look 24/7, and always have. I understand that, due to the structure of the hands, actual liposuction isn't an option. Any other ways to dissolve that fat?

This is a great question as many others may have concerns with "chubby" fingers. Unfortunately, there is no surgical correction due to the small confined space of the finger which contains nerves, tendons, etc. Diet/excersice/ weight loss is the only treatment.

As you age you’ll be glad you have fat in your fingers and hands.

With age this fat layer things out to the point of showing all the veins and tendons. Having that fat layer will serve you well in the later years.

Removing it would be inappropriate.

Older patients are coming in for fat transfer to their hands because they’ve lost fat with age.
