I'm wondering when after an areola reduction can you get your nipples pierced? How long should you wait after the operation? I am also wondering if you can get your nipples pierced if you have a nipple correction surgery. One of my nipples is slightly inverted, it kind of looks like I only have half a nipple if that makes sense. So if I do get it surgically corrected can I still pierce it?

Hello, thank you for your question. I've been asked this a few times over the years. I think I'd wait 6 weeks, and only after seeing your surgeon first. You want to be sure all the incisions are healed completely. Routine care after the piercing should be adequate.
