When should I get fillers after Accutane?

Hello. I’ve been taking accutane for 8 months and I finished it 27 October. I’d like to get some filler injections in my cheeks and chin. When would be best to do it? How long do I have to wait?

Thank you for this very good question. There is a prevailing belief that treatments that may involve any form of healing [usually the concern is anything surgical] should not be performed within 6-12 months of taking isotretinoin. 
Good news, this belief has now been challenged! There are at least 2 studies that have shown that the usual doses of isotretinoin that are prescribed for acne have no effect on surgical outcomes. Dermal filler injections are much less invasive than surgery, so this concern is really unwarranted. 
Long story short, it's safe for you to have filler done and don't worry about having been on accurate.

There is no need to wait any longer.  You may receive fillers at anytime at this point.  Accutane should not interfere with it, and vice versa.
