Can filler come out with pimple extractions? (Photos)

Question

Hi so I got a facial recently and he was extracting my pimples. He used a needle to pop them. And when he did my cheek where I have a little filler he said that it came out like a gel substance he'd never seen before. My first thought was omg was that my filler. It left a little hole it's only been a day or two and it's sore more than my usual extractions are. Is that by any chance even possible or am I just overthinking this. I posted a picture of the after and what it looked like before.

Thank you for your question and for providing pictures.  There might be a probability that filler can come out during the extractions however, it would be best to discuss this with your injector.  Your injector would be in a better position to answer your question.  Hope this helps.

I am not aware of facial extractions removing  dermal fillers. It's theoretically possible if you had a drop of superficial filler in an acne scar that became infected. This is more likely debris from the inside of the comedone that was extracted. Thank you. Dr Joseph

Depending on where you filler was placed, it is possible. Best to ask the person who did your injection about this.

it is highly unlikely that what you saw was your filler. fillers are usually placed deep under the skin, whereas pimples are only skin deep. Good luck from New York City
