Face more sunken after fillers, whats wrong? (photo)

Question

Had fillers a year ago to fill hollow cheek, but the injector is using the same type of hard filler used in the forehead to do my cheek and lips too, I noticed my face had sunken even more, I tolerate the whole situation for 10 months and yes it did dissolve on its own for 70 percent but the problem is where are all my facial fat in the cheek I used to have, could it be that the stiffness of the fillers sit on the fat, when I dissolve it once ,the whole cheek get soften but not to the same level as before

Thank you for your question and pictures.  I'm sorry you didn't achieve the look you desired.  In regards to your situation, it is a matter of where the filler was injected.  If the filler was not injected in the right place, it will not provide the desired results.  I would recommend expressing to your concerns to your injector to possibly rectify the issue and achieve better results next time.  All the best!

1) the fillers are placed poorly and are the wrong type for your face
2) you have aging that is occurring and need proper hormonal treatment/eveluation, lifting with energy treatments or threads, and the right fillers or fat injections
3) you may need surgery for your eyes and early lifting

I suggest a proper full rejuvenation treatment plan.  fillers alone will not slow down your aging process.

Based upon your submitted photos, I think the problem is that the placement of the injected filler was placed in the wrong area.  If you inject in the outer cheeks it will make your eyes look more sunken.   If you inject closer to your tear troughs/anterior middle cheeks you will find that this will smooth out this area and you will not see the sunkenness.   Please consider an in person consultation with an experienced cosmetic surgeon for a better explanation.

For the most part things don't get worst   once a filler is reabsorbed from your original starting point.   What does tend to happen over time is you loose more bone and fat in this area due to the aging process . Its just time to go back and get retreated. I would highly advise you to always make note of what products are being used on you. Some tend to last longer then others.
